Well as a CS major and a general lover of web scripting I tend to build websites for fun. Its a bit on the sick side, but I do enjoy it. I’ll also put some of the other projects that I work on up here as I work on them. Obviously I’m no graphics design major, but I do my best in that department while making sure that the scripting is done on an A+ level….or B+ at least :)

I’m always open for suggestions as well if you see something that could be done better or have any ideas for improvements.

Project List

Project: My Personal Website
Site: www.tygertown.us
Description: Of course you already know this one as your on the site, but I’ll post its details. After seing what Jade did with wordpress at work I decided to give it a go and redo my whole site using it. Overall I think it is a great way to get a site up that can be easily edited.

Project: Last Best Brews
Site: www.lastbestbrews.us
Description: Dedicated site for providing information about breweries. Hopefully we can get a full taproom list as well as each one of thier beers. Then put up a rating system to go along with it.

Project: Eve-Online Corporation Website
Site: www.tides-of-war.com
Description: After struggling to get a good site up that has all the basics of a corporation website I finally came across a pretty nice way of doing it. Again I used wordpress, but also used the Eve-Dev killboard together to build the homepage. This allows dynamic content to be published to the homepage with very minimal effort. The homepage basically pulls the RSS feed from wordpress to build the pilot logs(plogs) and then I built a custom script to pull a killboard feed for the other column.

Project: MSU College Ultimate Site
Site: www.montana.edu/ultimate
Description: Often it seemed that we needed a better way of communicating with all the players on the team. Again I used RSS feeds to pull in feeds from various ways that they were communicating previously. The yahoo groups mailing list that they used just happened to have an RSS feed that I could tie into as well as the rummy blog.

Project: Bozeman Summer League Site
Site: summerleague.bozemanultimate.com
Description: This was the first year that a summer ultimate league was put together. We are still finding little bits and pieces that could work more fluently and I’m hoping this will tie them all together. Hopefully I will get a registration page that will run the whole process online and make things a lot easier. I’ve recently updated the site. The goal here is to do as little work as possible but make the site function really well. I decided to do so would require WordPress, Paypal and Google apps which can all be done with minimal work. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Project: Bozeman Ultimate Site
Site: www.bozemanultimate.com
Description: I havn’t done it yet but I plan on doing it after I finish the Summer League.

Project: Bozofest Website
Sitebozofest.bozemanultimate.com
Description: Pretty much exactly the same as the Summer League site
