I feel it necessary to inform people about these little creatures. The Crow family includes the North American Crow, Magpies and Ravens. Now, I have only encountered Ravens in the woods in the mountains surrounding Bozeman, but I can see how they would be as annoying as their close brethren, the Crow.

Imagine living in a city infested with cawing devil birds. You wake to the screeching caw of a crow outside your window. Not only does the bird caw only near windows it walks past, but it also uses its super death gazing abilities to scare the poo out of you. Simply pounding on the window will not scare this satanic creature away, you must scream and slam your hand on the window to get it to go away. Ok, so not every morning is like this. Nope, the other mornings are filled with magpie squabbling in the tree outside the apartment. Really, what is all the commotion about. Its not like their isn’t an abundance of trash for them to dig through.
